This isn't your typical basic bio

Tonny St. James is a multi-hyphenate, Like the saying goes " A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." I added that in there cause I truthfully didn't know what to share on here. The truth is I'm a college dropout, who moved to LA the day before I turned 19. I did fashion design school for a minute but that wasn't my thing, then a very brief and extremely short lived music industry career, followed by culinary basic training that led to me working for many great amazing chefs, then came along my current job where I do communication for a research and policy lab at YP2F, best job I've ever had. PSA: I'm a Leather Kinky Sober Aquarius, do what you want with that information.

Why Inked Alien?

Inked Alien is a passion project of mine that started back in 2012. I first started writing on Tumblr but then quickly lost interest when I found out I could just scroll through black and white nude photos. Then came WordPress—honestly don't know what happened to that one. I paused for a while, then tried Substack, but I only wrote about two posts before getting busy with life. A year later, I created my organization Aliens Inc., but that didn’t workout in the way I envisioned it. Finally came Inked Alien, a mix of a newsletter and blog. Inked Alien is a full circle moment for all the above coming together into one thing. Whether you're a movie and TV fanatic, a foodie, or interested in politics from a Black queer immigrant's perspective. Inked Alien is my digital corner to share my two cents on things I like.
